Home MenuEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)
The City's Human Resources Department works with outside consultants to provide the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) as a resource to all city employees and their dependents.
The EAP provides counseling and referral services to assist employees who are experiencing problems that may impact job performance and quality of life.
Sometimes balancing work and family responsibilities can be stressful. The city's EAP provider, BHS, is staffed by qualified mental health professionals with a variety of clinical experience and training. The services of the EAP are free to City employees and their dependents and are completely confidential. Employees are encouraged to visit BHS' Website to learn more about services and help available. Log-in to the site to find thousands of resources — including articles, self-assessments, tips, videos, and more - on their secured Personal Advantage area.
