The City of Creedmoor, conveniently located approximately 20 miles north of Raleigh and northeast of Durham, is seeking a Seasonal Grounds Worker to perform mowing and routine landscaping duties throughout the regular growing season (April – September).  This is a new position and the department director anticipates working with the final candidate to set a flexible work schedule to accommodate the employee’s and the City’s needs.

Requirements
Successful candidate will possess a valid NC driver’s license with a clean driving record, and the ability to pass a routine physical examination, pre-employment drug screening, and criminal background check.  Prior work experience in landscaping and/or grounds maintenance and possession of NC pesticide applicator license are preferred but not required. 

Salary
Anticipated hiring rate is $12 - $14/hour (DOE).  This is an hourly, seasonal position without benefits.
